Daisy Group and BT Strengthen Relationship

Daisy Group plc and BT Wholesale have announced a new strategic agreement involving the supply of BT’s wholesale calls, Ethernet and broadband products to Daisy’s customer base.

In addition, the deal also sees a strengthening of the existing partnership between Daisy’s ServAssure division and BT Group for the provision of maintenance and engineering services.

Daisy tendered its carrier pre-selection (CPS) traffic to six UK carriers earlier in the year. BT Wholesale was the successful bidder and, after a period of migration, Daisy will route the majority of its business customers’ voice services over the BT network.

Leading unified communications provider Daisy Group plc is celebrating after being awarded two accolades from two separate award ceremonies in just one night.

At an awards dinner honouring businesses and entrepreneurs within the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM), Daisy was presented the award for the ‘Best Use of AIM’. The award is a credit to the way the business used the market to develop throughout the last 12 months.

Acquisition of telecoms division of Redstone PLC

Daisy Group plc (DAY.L, “Daisy” or the “Company”), the complete provider for communication services in the UK, announces that it has today entered into an agreement to acquire the telecommunications division of Redstone PLC (”Redstone Telecom”) for £17m.

Daisy has conditionally agreed to acquire Redstone Telecom, which comprises the assets of Redstone PLC’s fixed line business and also its wholly owned subsidiary Symphony Holdings Ltd, which largely comprises the mobile service provider and distribution business. As part of the Transaction, an agreement has been reached for the supply of fixed line and mobile services to the Group.
